I would encourage you to sign up for our Great Escapes for Teens & Young Adults Box of Books instead. The Great Escapes box will ask for the readers age so that we send age-appropriate content. However, since we customize each box to the recipient, we can accommodate a 14 year old with the Books & More box. Just let us know the age and we'll make a note of it in their file.

If you subscribe on the 10th of a given month, renewals will also ship out within a few days of the 10th of each month in which the subscription is active. I hope helps.

I absolutely loved this box!! The items were all so greatly thought out. It was so nice to get a box with everything I would actually use versus things that I would only ever use purely because it came out of a subscription box. What I loved most was that the two books I received, I had actually already read one of them but I was able to get a sneak peek at what my book possibilities were for the following month AND I was able to fill out a survey on their website to give ideas to them on what books I'd like to see so they can better tailor my box to me! I'm very pleased with this box and can't wait for my future boxes!!

Not happy that this seller auto- renewed me. I signed up for a three month subscription with this seller and one other. The other seller honored the three month term without my having to do anything. Really appreciate that. I canceled my subscription with this seller but am still on the hook for an additional three months. Won’t be using this seller again.

I am very sorry that you are upset that the subscription auto-renewed. There was an option at checkout to disable it. Additionally, we send out an email 48 hours in advance of an auto-renewal to let you know that it is coming. And there is a link in that email to cancel it.
