Not only will you receive a book on coffee, but our coffee partner New Day Buffalo Coffee Roaster is amazing and already has a charitable program built into their coffee roasting bags! We will also be working with WNY Book Arts again to make coffee coasters!

Summer '21 Ice Cream Box

The second box of 2021 (remember, 4 boxes a year) was ice cream themed! Ice cream box in the summer, Yes please! This Summer Ice Cream Box includes Sweet Spot written by Amy Ettinger, caramel sauce and hot fudge from Coop’s MicroCreamery, sprinkles by Confectionery House, and a themed bookmark made by local Buffalo-business, Spark Marks! The best part? Every purchase supports local organizations. Kim donated 50 jars to Feed WNY for their peanut butter drive

Our lemon theme was all about everything fresh and tangy! Organic lemons (about 70) were donated and distributed throughout Chicago that supported the Love Fridge Chicago organization

Limited Edition Persian Box

A special Persian-themed box was also created as a bonus box. This box honors Kim’s persian roots and is dedicated to her father, who passed from pancreatic cancer in January. This Persian Book Box came with a Graphic Novel Memoir by Marjane Satrapi called Persepolis, an Ajil Celebration Persian Trail Mix from Niloofar, and Persian food posters from Little Persian Learning. This box is a great introduction to rich Middle Eastern culture surrounding food.
