Q: What is the difference between mini, premium or full orders? Asked by Anna D., November 2020
We offer 3 different subscriptions:
Mini: Book, Candle, Bookmark, Custom playlist, Booklet w/ recipes and journal prompts, notecard featuring local artist, 5% of profits are donated to children's education
Full: Everything in Mini + cocktail or tea and a self care item
Premium: Everything in Full + artisan chocolate bar + a second self care item
Q: What kind of books? The theme says "romance" but the books highlighted seem to be supsense/mystery or historical fiction. Please clarify? Asked by Anna D., November 2020

We offer two highly anticipated new released fiction books a month. Each book will be different from one another, so they may be a variety of genres such as thriller, romance, fantasy, etc.
Think of them as your next "book club" type books :)

I love Authentic Books! You don’t get cheap trinkets in their boxes, unlike a lot of other bookish box subscriptions. These are high quality, full-size items that you will actually use. The book selection has also gotten so much better over time! They offer sought after, hyped books. The only issue I’ve ever had with them was items making it safely from their warehouse to my house. 1.) A coffee scrub leaked but thankfully didn’t leak onto the book! And 2.) they shipped chocolate that was a melted mess (it was the height of summer). In my most recent box the chocolate was solid and perfect, though! So even with those 2 “problems”, I highly recommend this subscription.

I really enjoy Authentic Books box! I love that you get to pick between very different books and that the items all relate and fit the look/feel/story of the book itself. They are definitely all about self care and pampering yourself with this box, and I love the aesthetic of this box and also the owner's mission. I love the candles so much! I also love that they have a give-back component to each box.
If they picked a book that you already know you want, it's like a little extra experience to get the box for the book. Give these guys a try!

This is my first box. I love the curation - candle, cocktail recipe & mix, body wash, bath seltzers! Unfortunately I already have the book so that was disappointing - although it was definitely on my TBR list. I’m trying to figure out the differences between the booklet item descriptions and what was actually in my box. There was no scarf or chocolates as referenced & pictured. However, they’re listed as option 2, 3 etc so perhaps different people get different items?

Each box is curated with such care by Natisha and she truly puts so much time and effort into every single item she selects for the box. I’ve felt like every box has been magnificent and I’ve loved every product I’ve received. I also LOVE the fact that all of the 5 senses are used - this is so unique and makes it all the more immersive and fun.
