Thanks for the question! Some of our zines do touch on adult themes. I would consider them appropriate for a 13 year old, but ultimately appropriateness is somewhat of a subjective call. I would recommend reviewing the zines beforehand to make sure that they are what you would consider appropriate.

A lot of the zines we carry are printed in small limited runs, so once they're all shipped there won't ever be any more. In keeping with the ephemeral nature of zines, we don't have any past boxes for sale.

A true godsend of a box of miscellaneous paper goods for slightly unbalanced folks like myself who are just trying to make it in this fathomless sea of indifferent infinitude that we call The Milky Way Galaxy (which is pretty cool as far as galaxies go; I'd hate to live in one of those sloppily disorganized non-pinwheel galaxies - talk about humiliating!). While I wouldn’t necessarily call all of these zines (most of them are pamphlets), I do love the variety of products from this last box. I thought it was a really cool representation of issues that people are making art of out there. If I had one suggestion, it would be to include an anthology in each box instead of some of the smaller pamphlets. That being said, I enjoyed this month’s box and I will be awaiting the next box to see if I want to continue with the subscription. The price is incredibly affordable for some quality artwork.
