BEWARE! Bought a gift 6-month subscription. The first 3 boxes were received in a timely manner, though had VERY repetitive contents, much of which is available at any grocery store. Two and a half months after the 3rd box was received, box 4 is still "being prepared". Classic Candy Box has not responded to my message on Cratejoy. Cratejoy's customer service online is a loop and there is no way to type anything anywhere--just 2 links that go to each other, so trying to contact them through social media. One more week and I am starting a chargeback.

Huge disappointment, I received 1 kit kat, 1 Butterfinger, 4 tootsie rolls, and some other small tootsie rolls. There was nothing about this box that was classic. The value of the box that I received was probably $4.00 and I spent $34.00 plus shipping. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS.

Seller is *not* helpful in coordinating customs fees and deliveries are stalled (sometimes indefinitely). Cratejoy service has been quite helpful in negotiating with seller, but otherwise a disappointing and frustrating experience.
One box that was received seemed to be well curated with a nice variety and quantity of treats.

I ordered a 3 month subscription of this box as a gift for my son. The first box arrived on time and with the expected contents. Candy was fine, as advertised. The second box was to ship in late January. We received a notice that it had been dropped off at UPS, but the tracking information never updated after that. I patiently waited several weeks before contacting the seller. The seller did not initially respond to me and had to be prompted by CrateJoy to respond. They then sent me a one line email - no apology - saying that there was a problem at UPS and they were working to resolve it. A couple weeks and several exchanges later, they refuse to ship new boxes or issue me a refund, instead blaming UPS and saying they are still trying to find the boxes. I have been given no timeline for resolving this or options other than continuing to wait. This is not how reputable businesses behave. I have received no help from CrateJoy (beyond them nudging the seller to respond to me initially) and have no way to communicating with CrateJoy to obtain their assistance with this matter. I will not be ordering from CrateJoy again based on this experience.

Similar to other recent reviews- my shipment never arrived. Ordered on January 13th, so I expected the packaged to be shipped by February 15 as per their description. According to the UPS tracking number provided, my shipping label was created on Feb. 3, but to date, UPS has not received it to ship to me. I contacted the seller on Feb. 16 and waited 4 days for a response. Contacted CrateJoy on the 20th to request a shipment or refund. CrateJoy has contacted the seller and given 2 days to respond. As of 2/23, received no response from either. Preparing to work through my credit card company for a refund.

I wish I could leave half a star. Crate Joy completely failed to deliver but had no problem charging me in full! I ordered a six month classic candy subscription and received one month. It was a Christmas present for my son and his excitement quickly turned to disappointment EVERYDAY when it never arrived. Despite numerous attempts on my part to communicate no one contacted me. Do not order from Crate Joy they don’t care about their customers.
