The Hopebroidery Box: Monthly Hand Embroidery Kits
- Each box comes with all the supplies you'll need to complete that month's project, including: fabric; a pair of embroidery scissors; full skeins of embroidery floss; needle and threader; a way to transfer your design; embroidery hoop; and a full-length, step-by-step video tutorial.
- Should you need any extra help with your project, I'm always happy to help you directly! I encourage subscribers to contact me directly via email with any questions you might have about your box or that month's project.
- Share photos of your progress by emailing me or tagging me (@hopebroidery) on your public social posts, I absolutely LOVE to see what you make with these kits!
- Take a look through past boxes to get a sense of the sorts of designs we stitch throughout the year! In the past, we've stitched houseplants, small animals, fruit, floral samplers, landscapes, and so much more! You can see what we're stitching next month by taking a look at the "sneak peek" on the listing!
- Boxes are sent out on or around the 4th of each month; boxes purchased *this* month go out *next* month (for example, if you sign up at any point in December, your first box will go out in early January!). Please keep this in mind, especially when purchasing a gift!

Hey, Jessica! I love this question! I mostly rotate between the following themes: potted plants, "floral samplers" (flowers and vines with loads of different types of stitches), mushrooms, skies (clouds, space, those sorts of things), fruit, and the occasional very small animal or insect here and there (such as butterflies or bees). I don't have any plants for more complicated animals or funny hoops for this box; however, I would be more than happy to recommend a few embroidery friends who do sell kits along those lines! I have loads of friends who make kits with funny sayings and animals, and I only recommend kits I would get for my own friends and family! Send along an email to me via the messaging service here...

Hey, Marie! I use 4" embroidery hoops for these box projects - what a great question! I can't remember the last time somebody asked me this!! In case you're not familiar with that size (or maybe you're totally familiar, but somebody else isn't and is reading this question), that's about the size of a large fist. Hey, Becki! Thank you so much! To answer your question, YES, these kits are *super* beginner-friendly. Each project comes with a link to a full-length, step-by-step video tutorial where I take you through everything from start to finish (how to thread a needle, transferring your design, stitch-by-stitch instructions, how to back your hoop, etc.). I think of it as being almost like a virtual workshop - the difference being, you can go at a pace that works best for you! I hope that's helpful, but don't be afraid to reach back out should you have any other questions whatsoever!

What a great little kit! I finished my first one over two separate afternoons. The fabric, floss, and needles are all very high quality, and even though I do have some supplies, it was really nice that I didn't have to go digging for them and could just get started. Hope's video instructions are great -- she is great at explaining how to do different stitches, and her voice and teaching style are so soothing and friendly. I will say that as a lefty, I did forget that I had to mirror things and got tangled up as a result, especially on the French knots (I don't care if I never do French knots again, to be honest), but for the most part, I did find the steps easy to follow. I'm really looking forward to the next box!

My fear is that I won't be able to accurately convey how wonderful this subscription box is. This box has given me so much joy. I started it when my husband was away for a few months and it was a treat to myself. I kept going because it was just such a wonderful addition to my life.

I am now obsessed with tiny scissors. You think you'll get too many, BUT ITS NOT POSSIBLE. The embroidery floss is fantastic, needle in every box so you don't even need to keep track of it. There is enough fabric to COMPLETELY mess up and start over.

Hope makes full length videos of the entire process. I started knowing absolutely nothing about embroidery. You can learn everything you need to through her videos!! She start with everything that comes in the box. And then she takes you through the pattern. It's fantastic. Additionally, her instagram has fabulous content so you can continue to learn.
