I ordered this as a last minute gift because it said that it would ship within 3 days. This is day 5 and the box has still not shipped.

To be honest when i found this box and read the reviews i was excited and could not wait for my order to be delivered, but upon receiving the box i was met with disappointment. Looking at the pictures of the other boxes you see a multitude of items in the box but in mine there were only 3 things, a piece of pyrite, a fossil, and a piece of the space shuttle blue print where you cant even tell what it is. Needless to say i will not be continuing my subscription. I hope everyone else had better luck.

Probably one of my favorite subscription boxes EVER! If you have kids and they love knowledge and seek out information constantly, this box is an education easter egg that initiates the start of great conversation and exciting exploration into learning. My daughter loved it and my husband and I were kind of jealous, but in a good way.

So far we LOVE our subscription. Both boxes we have gotten have had some pretty cool and interesting stuff. The first box had FOSSILIZED POOP!!!! What kid isn't going to want to learn about that? By kid I mean me, the 48 year old dad :) hahaha. Love it. Can't wait until the next one comes.

I believe we are up to seventeen boxes now and I'm just about to open another and upload the unboxing. I've always found the contents of Box of Matter are well-justified. The fact that so much information is available for each individual item. The scarcity or rarity of certain items I've received over the years is remarkable. Also, with regards to customer service, this Box of Matter personnel have never let me down. This is a quality subscription box through and through..

This is really one of the best subscription boxes I've ever had. My kids and I look forward to it arriving so we can add everything to our growing collection and read about all the unique items. You never know what you're going to get but it's all going to be exciting to learn about, handle, and use. It's like getting your own little museum exhibit delivered every month (but none of it's behind glass!).
